The principal dentist at Dental Wellbeing is Jatinder Babbra. Jatinder qualified with honours from St. Bartholemew’s (Barts) and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1995.
Jatinder has benefited from varied experience in the NHS services including working as a Salaried GDP and operating Emergency dental services at a Community Dental Clinic for almost a decade. Since 1998, he has developed his skills and experience in the independent and corporate Private dental sector in Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey.
After further studies, he gained Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) in 2000 and a Diploma in Conscious Sedation [DipDSed(UK)] at Guy’s Dental Hospital in 2002. He continues to undertake further postgraduate training courses to keep abreast of the latest techniques, procedures and protocols that are current in quality dentistry.
The recent advent of digitally enabled smile makeovers and treatments has renewed Jatinder’s passion for helping to transform patients’ smiles through high-quality, painless procedures that many patients report improve their confidence and general well-being.
BDS (Hons) MJDF RCS (Eng) MSC (Dental Implantology)
Sahra divides her clinical time between oral surgery, dental implantology and some general dentistry. She also accepts referrals from local dentists for complex oral surgery, such as wisdom teeth extractions and implant treatments.
Sahra is trained in intravenous sedation and clinical hypnotherapy techniques and is particularly good at managing anxiety in dental patients. She has taught postgraduate students in oral surgery and implantology, publishing work in clinical journals and training newly qualified dentists.
Sahra qualified from King’s College London with Honours and has completed postgraduate exams with the Royal College of Surgeons. She is an accredited advanced practitioner of oral surgery; she holds a Master’s degree with Merit in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol, having previously worked in several hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments. She is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Association of Dental Implantologists (ADI) and the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS).
When not working, Sahra has been a medical volunteer abroad and in the UK.
She enjoys swimming, horse riding and kickboxing.

Dr Sophia Malik qualified from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2002 and has been at Court Drive Dental Practice since 2006.
She continues further postgraduate training, regularly attending courses to keep abreast of the latest techniques and procedures. She prides herself on being meticulous, caring and thorough in the treatment she offers. She is especially good with children and nervous patients who appreciate her calm manner.
Sophia offers all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, including informative clinical examinations, white fillings, teeth whitening, crowns and veneers.
She has a specialist interest in the more complicated gum treatments, and through this, she aims to improve oral health, restore strength and function and improve smiles.
Sophia enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time. She particularly likes long walks and exploring the outdoors.

Dr Davit qualified with honours and the Dean's List Award from Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP) as a Graduate of Dental Medicine 2008.
She continued to work as a Doctor of Dental Medicine until 2010 before moving to the UK.
Raj is a well-rounded dentist and has developed a wide range of treatments and skills in both the NHS and the private sector, gaining lots of experience in general dentistry and in emergency dental care. She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry.
She is patient-orientated and serves to ensure that the treatment she provides is comprehensive. She strives to ensure her patients are well-informed at all stages of treatment and prides herself on providing excellent patient satisfaction.

Medical Diploma Clinical Hypnosis
Dr Ravalia qualified from The Royal London Hospital in 2002, benefiting from experiencing a wide array of dental fields.
He found it particularly rewarding when helping patients with a fear of dentistry.
Dr Ravlia has completed postgraduate training in Intra-Venous/Oral/Inhalation (gas and air) sedation at the Eastman Dental Institute, where he now teaches postgraduate dentists in this field.
He is also a Trust Dentist and Clinical Lecturer in Conscious Sedation at The Royal London Hospital and also provides general dentistry services. In addition to his formal Conscious Sedation training, he has trained in acupuncture for the head and neck region and obtained a Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis.

Dr Jamal Johnston is an experienced Associate Dentist at Dental Wellbeing, offering comprehensive, patient-centred dental care with a strong emphasis on comfort, trust, and overall wellbeing.
Jamal was awarded a scholarship to study dentistry at The University of Manchester, where he qualified in 1991 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
Alongside his clinical work, Jamal has a deep passion for education and mentoring. From 2008 to 2018, he worked as a Foundation Dentist and Therapist Trainer with the Oxford Deanery, supporting newly qualified dentists, therapists, and dental nurses through mentoring, clinical supervision, and professional development.
Jamal is known for his friendly, adaptable, and caring approach, ensuring patients feel relaxed and well-supported throughout their treatment journey. He focuses on delivering high-quality, ethical care tailored to each individual’s needs, helping patients achieve both oral health and confidence.
Committed to lifelong learning, Jamal continues to expand his expertise and has completed training in non-invasive facial aesthetic rejuvenation (HIFU), enabling him to offer holistic treatment options, which stimulate natural collagen formation, for wrinkle reduction and skin rejuvenation. HIFU treatment can deal with all areas of unwanted fat and sagging skin/stretchmarks on the body, complementing overall wellbeing.
Dental Hygienist
Kalgi Patel obtained her bachelor’s in dental surgery degree from Ahmedabad Dental University in 2020 and has been an active member of the dental community ever since.
Kalgi works part-time at Dental well-being as a Dental Hygienist.
Kalgi’s approach revolves around educating patients on improving and maintaining their oral health and guiding them in establishing effective at-home oral hygiene routines.
Quality patient care holds a special place in her heart, and ensuring that every patient receives top-notch treatment is a core focus for her.
Her favourite aspect of her job is providing patients with exceptional dental care and the confidence of a great smile. She values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with her patients.
Beyond the clinic, Kalgi enjoys baking, playing badminton, exploring her photography skills, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Clinical Dental Technician
Mario Theunissen is as Clinical Dental Technician and has joined our team on a permanent basis.
Mario has over 30 years of experience working within the local community. In addition to his clinical work, he mentors other dental technicians and operates his own specialist laboratory, where he designs and fabricates a wide range of prosthetic restorations.
A Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) is a registered professional trained to assess patients, design dentures, carry out all stages of their construction, and fit them directly. Mario’s background includes extensive experience in producing dentures that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
By incorporating his services within the practice, patients who require prosthetic denture care can access consultation, design, and fitting in one location. This allows for a more streamlined process and direct communication with the technician responsible for the construction of their dentures.
